Holmgren is also available, he had 14 of 17 winning seasons, 4 NFC title games, 3 NFC titles and a super bowl, 161-111

Not as good as the great Jason Garrett but its impressive

As much as I would love to have Gruden come in it will never happen.JG is the perfect coach for this team because he does exactley what JJ tells him to do.No real head coach is gonna come to the Dallas Circus and be JJ's Puppet.

Holmgren's process is to win now because he doesnt have forever unlike Garrett who feels he is entitled

Stop teasing us.

A coach is someone who tells you what you don't want to hear, who has you see what you don't want to see, so you can be who you have always known you could be.” - Tom Landry

“The Dallas Cowboys have 2 types of plays in their playbook.  Passing plays and running plays.” - John Madden

Dont want Reid but I'll take anything at this point. I can't stomach another year of JG.

what did Gruden do other than taking a team Dungy built to a mediocre superbowl?/
nah really,I'm just asking.

how about we get Brett Favre to coach or @ least oc.?? seriously..I know he misses the camera.

Gruden got completely screwed by the tuck rule or he could've taken another team to the Super Bowl. Plus Dungys team never won. He brought Tampa their 1st championship.

Gruden has exactly what this team of "buddies and pals" needs. An attitude problem. Think he'll put his arm around Romo's shoulder and whisper sweet nothings in ear after boneheaded mistakes? Hell no. he'll rip him in front of everyone on national tv. And he loves to pound the rock. He'll actually use Murray. Im praying Jerry Jones sees the light like he did 10 years ago when he hired Parcells and at least attempted to let a real football guy take over. If Romo stays, its all we can hope for. If he wants to blow it up and start over, then Garrett may be the right guy for the job. long term.

Held players accountable, HC experience including "situational football" and had them prepared to play. He also ran the ball.
Major reasons to avoid coming here.

ok, so been a true Cowboys Fan my entire life, 45 yrs... GRUDEN, GRUDEN, GRUDEN, That would be AWESOME!!! Then we would have Ryan and Gruden, our Defense would be like NONE ever seen in the history of the game!!!! GRUDEN, GRUDEN, GRUDEN!!!!! Our AWESOME RB would then actually get a O-Line that can block, then Romo would have time to choose his throws, it would be great.... OH BUT WAIT A MINUTE (or decade) JJ is still in control!!!! :o *sigh* you know what we say...... maybe next year!.... *sigh*
