Take a package of Owens country sausage.  I prefer spicy. Cut it open and insert cheese and jalapenos into the center without changing the shape of the log.  Take a pound of bacon and make a weave by by lapping pieces first over and then under the next peice so that when you are finished you have a sheet of bacon.  Place your sausage onthe bacon weave  and role it up.  Secure it with a couple of toothpicks.  Now you have a pound of sausage wrapped in a pound of bacon, better known as a "fatty".  Now grill it slowly with some oak on the coals so it smokes.  Google bacon fatties and numerous equally healthy variations exist.

This would be great served over pork chops. Healthy variations and bacon is an oxymoron and sacrilege. A serving of bacon is not measured by slices or weight. It is measured by when one feels their heart struggling to pump blood and they're short of breath, pause, wait until the feeling passes and proceed to gorge. I love bacon so much I have to hate pigs. Nothing against them personally, they just got screwed on the food chain.

I saw tofu made to look like bacon and thought to myself, which is wise to keep these thoughts to myself, what a jealous sumbittch bean curds must be. Hell, the closest thing a pig will try to emulate tofu with is lard. Tofu? What demented maniac gave that name to food? Sounds like the stuff left over after a pedicure.

Most people aren't aware of the Bacon Fairy, but she really does exist. I put a slab of bacon under my pillow, woke up the next morning and there was a brand new Rolex.

The following week, I put two slabs of bacon under my pillow, next morning, a new Porsche.

Not about to give up three slabs, cheap bittch.

The problem might be "insert pic" it might be the link to your picture you are trying to use. Some links don't work with the forums' code. Sheesh. Try "insert pic" with a different picture link or upload your picture you are having problems with to a free picture hosting site like: http://www.tinypic.com
