At the moment I am onto 'Tribal Thunder' by Dick Dale.  I couldn't find the full LP on youtube so here's a link to a playlist:

ZZ Top's Greatest Hits although I'm disappointed that "Beer Drinkers and Hellraisers" isn't on it.
"Just Got Paid" and "Heard It On the X" curiously didn't make the compilation either.

Good question. "Heaven and Hell" wasn't on Dio's Anthology album and that is a top five song from his works.

I know I have that and was baffled as to why it was not on there!

I love Black Sabbath with Ozzy and Dio, my gosh some rockin tunes...Dio was just amazing.

It's all good.  That type of macho-insecurity tends to be a framework for many of Pantera's fans.  Although Robert Johnson is pretty awesome.

Moving on:

Frank Black - Teenager of the Year

I love Pantera too, just have a more broad taste in music. ahhh frank black... and the pixies...oh those were the days!

I remember seeing the pixies and love and rockets opening for the cure in dallas back in 1990!

Monday is my birthday and it is hard to believe I will be 45 :o  but I still feel and look like 25...and I still rock out.

my next concert is Depeche mode in Rome, Italy in July at 20th at Olympic Stadium, having seen DM once they are truly amazing live and are still selling out stadiums 33 years into their careers.

oh and I really dig Frank Black!...remember the pixies-bassanova? dig for fire???

Kraftwerk is a damn good electronic, techno/pop, ambient, and avant-garde band whose influence is heard in everythhing today from hip hop to black metal.  Just really cool and minimalist, but with nice whimsical melodies and electro ambient passages.  In the case of 'Trans-Europe Express' you really feel like you're in motion on a train.  Just too cool.  For me they are an extension of Pink Floyd and Sun Ra.  Certainly if you like Depeche Mode, New Order, Moby, Information Society, Front 242, Joy Division, The KLF, and David Bowie amongst others you'll like Kraftwerk.

Yeah, I dig the Pixies.  Was kinda bummed when Frank Black moved on, but it made sense.  All this talk made me get out the influencial:
