I have to pull for the home state Tigers. My college(CCU) won the world series and now Clemson is vying for the top of the football ranks.

After tonight's game I am thinking Clemson.

I will give Saban benefit of the doubt on rematches with QBs.

They will have some stuff ready for him this year.

I think 24 is the magic number for Clemson. I think they need to get over that number to win.

Alabama's defense has given up 4 TDs more than they have scored themselves.  Thats a -2 points per game. Saban will ride his defense and play conservative by the book in this game. They will try to "setup" some defensive plays if they can pin Clemson deep.

I have a feeling OJ  Howard is going to get some shuttle passes inside when the run action is going the other way with Scarborough. I look for Joshua Jacobs to factor in the passing game if Clemson is able to shut Scarborough down.

I also think the place where you attack Clemson is over the middle with slants and skinny posts...not sure if Hurts can make these throws.

Ultimately the game will be on Watson. If he torches Bama again, he is worth 2 1st round picks.

I have felt Clemson will win this game. Every old school gambler I have talked to can't believe they are getting Alabama under -7. They seem to think Bama wins the game by double digits. They say Bama is way too much value here in this setting.

I will go with the gamblers(and my heart) Alabama 34-20 Clemson. Jalen Hurts throws for under 200 yards. Joshua Jacobs or an Alabama defensive player will be MVP.

Man, bamas defense is bringing it, but they sure do look like a bunch of dirty thugs to me.

Clemson evidently looked soft on tape.

Clemson was giving a bunch questionable hits against OSU and bragged about it in press conference(especially Boulware). They basically asked for that type of game. Of course the refs have called 3 personal fouls in the first 15 minutes.

There is nothing dirty about the hits that Alabama has had outside of the club to Watson's head. Foster was flagged for that.

. YeahI agree , it's just the extra shoving and such after the tackles is what I was referring to.

Alabama is blowing up Clemson's LG on practically every play. That means Center must help LG. On passing downs that means 1 on 1 against Williams, Allen, and Anderson. Clemson will have to make an adjustment with RB or TE helping. Foster or Evans are spying Watson on every play.

I think Clemson is getting past 21. I doubt this is a FG game.

Bama might actually have to do something on offense now. Not sure that D is going to hold up much longer.

Looks like they just did something, wide open touchdown pass to the tight end for a touchdown.

They might need to do something again if Clemson scores another TD here. That D is starting to look gassed.

pretty blatant offensive pass interference unless the ball is behind the line of scrimmage
