Other than Daks ability to run he is not in the same class as Romo. Passer rating is great but you have to consider the short 20-30 yard passes. The thing is IMO is that Dallas is a run first team and they take a lot of pride in that. So, Daks ability to run gives him a big edge.

I may be a kid, but so is Dak and look at what he's accomplishing

If Romo stays in Dallas and ever see's the field again I hope Dak works with Romo on how to slide cause he sux at it.

He's not on par with Romo's accuracy...yet. He has improved and I have no reason to believe he won't continue to improve. Other than the timing of it all, we couldn't ask for a better situation moving forward. I mean, we ended up with a top 5 QB in the 4th round and the one he is pushing out the door is statistically one of the best ever and he was not even drafted. How lucky could we be to hit the jackpot twice, knowing how long it took to find someone to fill Aikman's shoes?

And Happy New Year, winstar.

They are blowing people out every week. They probably get the least amount of press of teams who have made the show and I'm not sure why.

They scored a lot of points in their last 4 games..... but you have to consider their opponents.

Same to you bro.....I agree it is good situation to be in.  I like what Dak brings to the team and I also agree he will get better with the accuracy.  I am also of the opinion that Dak did not risk much on long passes to avoid the turnovers and that's a good plan.  Don't tell these other yahoo's but I suspect many don't want to see a competition between Romo and Prescott.  I personally would welcome an all out competition for the job and I predict Dak would come out on top.

Aside from his legs, another thing Dak brings is a younger, tougher body. He has taken some licks that we have been conditioned to think as season ending type hits. There have been a couple, one as recent as yesterday, when I thought to myself "Holy crap. He got up."

Well we know that the Cowboys don't allow completions so it doesn't really matter

Tony loves the gunslinger mode.  If Garrett reverts back to the throwing the ball 30 or 40 times a game then Tony is your man.  He has full control of the offense when he is on the field and he is not  against changing a run to a pass.  I guess what I'm getting at is as long as we are run first then Dak is the guy.

I can agree with that. Which is why I also hope Tony has a chance to be the guy for another team
