It is possible. It is a very deep draft for running backs we can snag a guy in the 2nd or 3rd round. Guice is just my pet cat at running back i love the way he tots the rock.

Hillman, Morris, and McFadden are all free agents. I thought you'd be down to since your boy Royce is going to be in this draft.

Frewman will be in the first two rounds... I am not drafting a rb in the first 5 rounds. Sign a free agent on the cheap

10-16

Why? Our offense isnt that much different. I think we will be in the playoffs for sure. Even if the suspension sticks (which it shouldnt) its only 6 games. And thats not considering the appeals process

Wow that's not what I think will happen. I don't think we're that bad.

Don't think the Cowboys can string back to back good seasons together is 1 reason.

If they lose 3 of the first 6 games with Zeke being out it puts us behind the eight ball a bit, and who knows if he hits the ground running not being able to be at the team facilities during that span.

Problem is that Zeke is a huge help in keeping time of possession on the offensive side where McFadden can't grind out games.

Zeke has a knack at getting into the endzone McFadden doesn't.

This defense is very young, and them being on the field too much is going to hurt this team overall.

Wouldn't be surprised if they go 7-9 or worse.

If we're picking between 10-16 do whatever it takes to trade up for Key or Landry

I think when the regular season starts everyone starts in the same place. #1 or #32 depending on your life outlook. (so #32 for you.)

Drafting a back up running back in the first 3 rounds would be a  HUGE MISTAKE.  A what 5th or 7th rounder in Chicago was the second leading rusher in the league.  We need players that can play and contribute in starting roles the first 3 rounds, we have a myriad of positions that need upgrades.  I see alot of TE picks too, we have 2 very young tight ends in Swaim and Gathers, I would avoid with the first 3 picks as well.

Jordan Howard was a 4th rounder.

Im sorry but there are plenty of guys later on in the draft that are great back up rbs.

Ralph Webb is one of my favorites to see behind Zeke. He is a CoP back for sure. Straight line speed, burst, ability to follow his blockers. He is a guy who can break of 10-15 yards before you even know it. He would be cool to see here.

And who knows if Freeman falls to the 3rd or 4th i wouldnt mind grabbing him either. A powerful rb with his vision and cutting ability? Hed be a hell of a backup

Hard to believe we'll likely have another draft where 2 safeties are 2 of the best players in the draft.

When it's all said and done, Derwin James and Minkah Fitzpatrick could both be top 15 picks. Kids look to be pretty special.

Top 10 for both wouldn't surprise me at all. James especially is an animal.

It's kind of like RB, where it's nice to see a strong influx of blue chip talent after several really lean years at the top.

10-16

I hate to agree with you but I see something similar.  Seems like the Boys will follow a good year with a down year.  2009 we go 11-5 then 6-10 in 2010, 2014 it was 12-4 followed by 4-12 and of course last year we went 13-3 so history would say a down year in 2017.  Given what's transpired this off season with the FA losses and suspensions makes a down year more likely.  Good news is that we will be drafting high and we have a bunch of picks so we should load up in the 2018 draft.
