City folk: the world is overpopulated.
City folk: stop deforestation.
City folk: pollution is blotting out the sky

Country folk: gosh it's so peaceful out here and what a view. The nature around us is gorgeous the fresh air is amazing and what a starry sky at night.

No wonder studies show city folk have a higher chance of depression

Country folk in the city: "Watch out for that bus!"

Country folk in the city: "It's so friggin' noisy."

Country folk in the city: "What the Hell is that smell???"

City folk in the country: What do you mean they don't have WiFi?

City folk in the country: It's how far away??

City folk in the country: They should really move the deer crossing signs (true story)

My vacations are ALWAYS more enjoyable and restful if I have ZERO access to the internet (and most technology in general)

We just got back from Cape Cod. The least amount of technology I've used all year lol. Mostly because I didn't want to answer any work related phonecalls. We got flooded two days that we were there with torrential downpours so we stayed in and watched TV those days but otherwise we were out enjoying nature.

Nearly every year, I spend a week in Myles Standish state forest. I'll also visit the Plymouth waterfront and take a sunset cruise on the Paddle boat. I've never actually made it to Cape Cod, but I've been on Whale watches that go into Cape Cod Bay.  It's beautiful in the summer. I'd hate to winter there.  lol

I can't stand facebook.  Or Twitter.   Or debit cards.   Or fleas.

Speaking of fleas. We came home to a hungry swarm of them. Our dog had fleas before we left. They must've reproduced while we were gone and were famished when we returned. Never been bit by fleas till Saturday.

I didn't know it is popular to like fleas. I guess I'm rebellious and apart of the counterculture on this one then. lol

I think George Strait was just a pretty good singer, nothing special.   Though I do love to dance to a ton of his songs.

In kindergarten we learned the meaning of the prefix UN. Later tbat day I hit some kid accidentally. The teacher yelled at me and told me to apologize. Being new to America not knowing much English I argued that I did it UNpurpose. I said it 5 times until the teacher understood what I meant.

You dance to George Strait songs? Seriously?

I DON'T CLAIM TO BE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY, BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE DELUSIONAL!

He said he doesn't like fleas, which I assume is a popular opinion.

All the time.   My favorite for dancing is unwound.

I watched the first two seasons, but only because someone gave me the DVD's.

Spent 2.5 weeks in Italy in July. My phone was totally shut off and we only had my wife's phone for our technology. Spent limited time on her phone and zero TV. Probably got more exercise and relaxation in those 2.5 weeks than the previous 25 years combined
