....from any team that you could have on our team, offensive or defensive,  to take us a big step closer to a Super Bowl, who is that player?  Just one. And yes it's fantasy football time

Second part of question... If there was one retired player who you could clone (from any team but ours) and have on our team, who would it be. Again fantasy because cloning humans is a few years away

I'll start, Aaron Donald. 26 years old, has averaged 9 sacks/year over 3 years, 3 straight pro-bowls and two first team all-pro teams, no history of injury and no run-ins with the law or league. Liked him out of college, still like him big-time

Answer to second part of question, I'd clone Lawrence Taylor, the best defensive player of all time (irregardless of position) despite his uniform

Without piggy backing on Donald, I'd take Von Miller and Reggie White, just try and block it

You beat me to it. I would take Lawrence Taylor over any defensive player. And that's what we need now......a monster that can get to the Quarterback.

Good take Pink, Donald is the correct answer. So to put my own in I would go with the best defensive player on the planet in JJ Watt.

Actually nevermind I'm going Mack, he's the 2nd best defensive player and has stayed healthy thus far.

Both good choices. Mack would be second for me. A couple of years ago I would have gone with Watt. We'll see what three back surgeries have done

wow, yeah love Miller too. So we've got Donald, Miller, Watt and Mack. Ok there's my D-line. It's a 4-3 with Watt, Donald inside and Miller and Mack as DE's. Heck it doesn't matter what alignment we run. Someone give me a LB'er from todays group.I'm taking Justin Houston as Mike

Just realized that most of the great defensive D-line players are in the AFC thank god. With the exception of Donald and Michael Bennett

I'm sorry, bipob.  My football brain isn't working right now.  It's not required if I'm talking about our Boys because that's second nature, but going out into the field requires concentration.  It would have to be someone that really ticked me off.  I've just got to ponder on this one a while.  Love all the footballiness of things getting us ready for 2017.

From the past that wasn't a Cowboy throws the door wide open and there will never be one correct answer.  Dang it, that "any team but ours" stuff is killing me.  I'll take... no, he was on our team.  Ok then, there's... no, he came to the Cowboys.  Well, what about Jerry Rice?  It doesn't have to be D, does it?

Mack and Suh. THAT would push us right over some b a d opponents.

I would not want to face either of them.

It's Von Miller for me. He is to me the modern day LT without hookers anD crack.

If I could clone a player right now it would be Deacon Jones. Mean nasty and just what we need to get over the top.

When Brady retires we'll still have Dak.

CALVIN JOHNSON-
Try to stop Calvin and Dez with Brady throwing to them.

Never saw Deacon Jones play but I read that he called sacks "sacks" first. For that alone, he's a great clone
