Best of luck to you. You should buy your son a Dak Jersey.

Already did.

I'm a Cowboys fan. I'm down with the team and I don't let personal and groundless agendas get in the way.

Funny you would say that.

2011 NY Giants defense was ranked 27th that year.

Yet they won the SB..

ELI threw for 4900 yards and the most yards in playoffs EVER.

2007 They were ranked 7th..

ELI Did beat ROMO & Farve on the road & Undefeated BRADY

What they were ranked for the year doesn't always mean much.  The Giants, as they always do in their SB years, come on at the end of the season.  They've done this going back to 1986.  That 2007 Giants team was not a 7th ranked defense in the playoffs.  They were a lot better by then.  Same goes for the 2011 team.  They had injuries early in the season that healed up and the Giants started to catch fire.  That ranking was nothing but a useless statistic by the time they were in the playoffs.  But you probably already know this.

You may have missed a few small facts like.

2x SB winning QB

2x SB MVP

and will likely end in top 5 for Yards, Tds.

200 games started in a row.

The team won, not elitia

Regular season: 59.7 comp. %, 7.1 yards-per-attempt, 83.7 passer rating

Postseason: 60.5 comp. %, 6.9 yards-per-attempt, 87.4 passer rating

Dalton, Cutler, Kitna, Fitzpatrick and Orton all have a higher career completion percentage than Eli.

Eli also has one of the highest interception per pass percentages of all time. Probably because he looks like Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh and can't see very well.

It's well known the Giants defense was the true MVP but since you can't give the whole defense the MVP they had to give it to someone. The tyree throws is how he won the MVPs, which is unfortunate for the real MVPs.

I think last Sunday finally sunk in and they realize who this Eli guy actually is.

And although Romo has high praise for Eli the Eli led Giants will be 0-2 by the end of week 2! The Eli led Giants will be lucky if they win 8 games this year. Playoffs are out of question. I'm still waiting for nygiants516 to come back and eat his crow.....or at the very least school him some more.

Eli is not the issue on the O, it's our atrocious OL. When a defense knows you can't run the ball effectively, it nullifies the play action, the D can just rush 4 or even 3 vs a bad OL & keep 7-8 players in the passing lanes. Name me a single QB in the NFL that can win games with a bad OL & no run game? When you only have 2-2.5 secs to throw, all you can do is throw quick hitches/slants or check downs to the RB. You need at minimum, 3 seconds to allow your receivers to run a deeper route, our OL allows Eli less than that on almost every pass play.  I'll be the 1st to say that if we finish Sept 1-3 or 0-4, we can kiss the playoffs goodbye. Giants better treat the Det game like it's a playoff game, win or go home. I expect to see a more aggressive approach on the offensive side of the ball by coach menu. I will go ballistic if he plays a conservative type game.
