He gets in a fight at practice and everyone wants to suddenly act like he's a pariah. Hilarious! While some of you wanna act like Zek is god almighty himself. At least Pryor doesn't hit women. I know most of you never played the great sport of football, but fights happen in practice all the time. No one on here understands how valuable the safety position is on here, anyway. Pryor is head and shoulders better than all of our safeties, except for one. Can someone remind me how many playoff games we've won since Woody retired?

Has nothing to do with off the field issues, he's simply not a good football player.

Pryor can hit.    That's about it.

I wish I could get it across to those who watch a college player's highlights and anoint him because he can hit.

My doctor told me to start killing people.   Well, not  in those exact words.   He said I had to reduce the stress in my life.    Same thing, really.

I had a low 4th on him coming out. Looks like I have him too much credit.

lol it's the same as Woods...fans love him and want him to be our SS bc he hits in the highlight video.

Meanwhile, his strengths are coverage and his weakness is tackling. Much better suited to play as a nickel S or CF type.

BJ is about 10 times better and I'd much rather roll the dice on a cheap Heath to see what he can do than go overpay for a bad NFL player.I also like the coverage upside of Woods as a nickel/dime safety.

So yes, our safeties are better.

What if we get him for league minimum? would you still want Heath?

I'm not sure if I would cut a player for him.
Most know I don't value heath as a player, I feel as if right now Pryor is a lesser player than Heath.

Pryor sucks. He's also a Jag now. They claimed him off waivers.

Yep. No reason to complain anymore! Jags waiver was much higher than ours

People are putting big hitting SS at LB these days in nickel coverage.

Woods is the new age S and I would bet teams are running more nickel and dime then there base by percentage.

You would win that bet. I thinks Spags stated last off-season that Dallas played 60% of their snaps in the nickel. Dallas should build their draft and roster for the nickel.

Just my opinion of course.

Probably not. He's proven that he's incapable of playing in coverage as a starter.

At least Heath has shown some glimpses of promise in his limited snaps.

Yeah, when was that?

For Heath? The fact that he's caused and recovered nearly as many turnovers over the last few seasons as starters while being a backup.

Yea the game is changing for sure.

I like Woods coverage ability, but his lack of size and tackling ability are likely what caused him to slip in the draft. That being said, if he continues to improve he can still see a lot of snaps due to the amount of nickel/dime we play just like you mentioned.

The guys that have size/speed and that can both cover and be effective in the run game are hard to find. That's why I was so, so big on Adams coming out this past year because he was the absolute total package.

Might have 2 in the upcoming draft with James and Fitzpatrick. Both appear to be really good 1st round caliber players.

How many tackles has he missed, & how many coverages has he blown, over that time?

Less than Pryor.
