Not sure if this has been posted, or if this is the right subforum.

Romo went on TV and started calling the Raiders plays before they ran them. Dude has a seriously high football IQ.

That's certainly an unusual way to call a game.

I might say this: we’ve always been a running team and I’m sure we will continue to be so. (We’ve been criticized for it, I might add.) But I’ve always felt that three things can happen to you whenever you throw the football, and two of them are bad. You can catch the ball, you can throw it incomplete, or have it intercepted.

Romo's FBIQ is higher than Dak's, but Dak is better because he's better physically and not injury prone at this point of his career. And Dak can QB run unlike Romo.

Dak is no where near as good as Romo YET

Meh, anyone with very good knowledge of the game, especially experienced pro QBs, could have figured each play out. Those calls were very obvious which way they were going based on what the defense was showing pre-snap.

I heard some of his audio and though it was impressive - I don't want to hear him predicting the plays before every snap. Can he add something useful to the conversation ? Just thought this was a weird approach to calling a  game.

Go COWBOYS !!!!  The Real Americas Team !!!!

Ya, that's why everyone does it.

But other players who claimed to know what Dallas was running couldn't do it on the field.

Someone compliments Romo and you swoop in to poopoo it.  Really, I thought you were over that.

Dont all football fans call out plays before the play is ran?  Just seems like a common thing among myself and friends.  And on top of that I can remember as a kid hearing my aunts, uncles, dad, grandma ect ect calling out plays before they happened.  This is nothing new.  I would be shocked if Romo has not been doing this as a fan his whole life.

#ClearEyeView "A focused vision setting out on something that you have to be able to see it clear and a determined belief. You have to believe in yourself. You have to have self-belief, belief in God that you can accomplish what he wants you to accomplish. And then earned dreams: how bad do you want it, putting that work in."

Yes. When the Cowboys get near the goal line I call out "force ball to Dez".

Yes , but they didn't ... There are 100s of announcers that can tell you what you just saw after it happens. How hard is that?

Romo taking a new Grudenusque approach using knowledge and formations to call the game. I think its amazing!

Romo is very entertaining in the booth. I liked what I heard and honestly,I see why they replaced Simms. He was getting a bit stale...the whole..."ah shucks" type of jargon etc. He was good for a long time though. Romo showed his brilliance with how he knew what the Raiders were running. Nance was in awe I think. Thats what viewers love, that kind of knowledge.

Wish Romo the best as an analyst and wish Dak the best as our QB.  Let the bad blood die, people..  All that is over.

Romo is in great company with Jimmy, Troy, Michael & the Moose & Deion.  Be thankful we still have them in our NFL lives on game days.
