Now that's a punch.

Fredbeard has stated that Collins can bench press between 600 and 700 pounds That was not a pancake he threw him about 5 yards

He was blown off the ball by JPP / this is s nonsense highlight to pump LC's flat tires.

On the NY Littles site this is what they had to say about La'el's and Tyron's domination.

https://www.blogging...ay-sunday-night

Olivier Vernon and Jason Pierre-Paul looked dominant for the New York Giants during the preseason, but they were nowhere to be found against the Cowboys in Week 1.

Cowboys left tackle Tyron Smith and right tackle La'el Collins completely shut them down. I know it's been a while, but that's what a dominant offensive line looks like -- especially at the tackle positions.

Aside from the one sack by Vernon, the defensive end duo struggled to get any pressure on Dak Prescott. Pro Football Focus handed Vernon one of the worst grades of Week 1 and his worst since joining the Giants. Pierre-Paul wasn't too far behind.

Collins can explode of the ball and has power at impact....but his back step can be slow (that's why he puts his outside foot so far back) and  DEs have a chance to get behind him if he's slow off the snap.

From what I see that's a technique that a lot tackles use. Of course you have to be flexible and athletic enough to use that technique.

This was one battle that LC won in what was a great back and forth war all night. Even without Martin's help, LC completely stonewalled JPP at the line. JPP got the better of LC a few times in this game but, overall, LC did a great job. JPP was not a disruptive force the way Demarcus Lawrence was on the other side. LC was a big reason why.

DLaw played well but that first sack he got because Maliek took out the guard and tackle.
